Please join us to celebrate the opening of our first Artist Spotlight, featuring the Hudson-based artist Jack Walls. Mr. Walls’ new series of 34 head paintings will be on display, as will items from his personal archive, including African carvings, process drawings, inspirational objects, books, and photographs. Also on view will be a special Robert Mapplethorpe photograph of Mr. Walls, who was the celebrated photographer’s last partner and muse; our gratitude to the Mapplethorpe Foundation for this generous loan. The event will be held from 6–8 pm; wine and sparkling water will be served.
